AMRAP Timer

12-Minute AMRAP Timer

Twelve minutes is long enough that going out too fast costs you more than it wins, and short enough that you can feel that happening. The classic teaching length.

Questions

How long does a 12-minute AMRAP run?
None — an AMRAP is one clock. It counts 12:00 down from the moment you press start, and the rounds are however many you get through in that time.
Can I change the intervals?
Yes. The dial opens on this setting and every field is editable — change the work, the rest or the round count and the total updates as you type. Nothing is saved, and there is nothing to sign up for.
Does it keep running if my screen locks?
In the browser, not reliably — a phone that locks will stop the tab. That is what the iOS app is for: it keeps the clock and the spoken cues running in the background, and on the Apple Watch it taps your wrist at every switch.
